LoveAndSeek Review: A Lot of Seeking, No Love Found

LoveandSeek.com is one a few dating sites that is supposed to find matches for Christian singles. They have features, search criteria and personality quizzes that are supposed to find you a date who shares the same values and religious beliefs. I find it deplorable that some companies will try to take advantage of Christian singles who are looking for like-minded people and that is exactly what this site does. It is part of a massive network of dishonest sites. I have tried a few of the sites on the network and all of them turned out to be frauds. If you are familiar with Match.com, Chemistry.com, OurTime.com or BlackPeopleMeet.com then this site is pretty much the same thing, but more on the generic side. All the sites are owned by People Media who bought them so they could expand their reach and swindle more people. Check out my review and experience on the site below for more details.

Review

One thing that I noticed about LoveandSeek.com is the same thing I noticed on every site I have visited from the People Media network. Check out their Terms section for a section called Communications and Test Profiles. Here is where they outline their plans to fool you. They admit, in writing, that employees of the company create test dating profiles to test the functionality of the service and improve the service quality. How fooling you with fake profiles improves the service quality is something I do not understand. It is just an excuse for them to fill their sites with women who don’t actually exist, just like at Loveaholics.com. It also gives them an opening to send you computer generated messages in an attempt to get you to pay their membership fees or if you are a member, they try to keep you using the site until you are charged for another month. Read the experience I had on the site below and you will know exactly why I did not stick around to let them rip me off for another month.

My Experience

Before joining LoveandSeek.com; I read their terms and found that they reuse all your profile data. This is a familiar fraud tactic, same as at fuckswipe.com, and means that they take all your pictures and information and post them on the other sites on their network so they can use you to fool others into paying for their services. I also read about their fake test profiles and computer generated messages. The site was fairly cheap so I went ahead and tried it hoping that the site would prove me wrong. They did not. I received tons of flirty messages from a lot of good Christian girls before I paid for my membership and they were nowhere to be found after I paid. Same old same old.

Features

LoveandSeek.com is said to be popular, but I don’t see why. The personality questionnaires are not nearly as detailed as other similar sites I have tried. One feature that would be great if it was a real site is the ability to post large pictures. Many dating sites limit the size of profile pictures and you are forced to add small ones. One of the most annoying things about the site is the ads. The ads interfere with the experience and many of them look like they are part of the site. This is another tactic they use to fool you into clicking on their advertisers.

Cost

LoveandSeek.com says on their front page that it is free to sign up and browse, but that is all that’s free besides sending winks. In order to unlock most of the features and respond to messages, you must pay a monthly membership fee. The standard monthly charge is not that much at $16.99, but it might as well be a dollar because you do not get a genuine experience. You can save more money by purchasing 3 months at $36.77 or purchase 6 months for $53.94. Whatever the payment plan you choose, you will automatically get charged for the same duration at the end of the billing cycle. There are also some hidden costs that go with upgrading to premium features. It costs an extra $3.95 to upgrade and each added feature costs an additional $4.95. This really adds up.

The Bottom Line

If you find out that a dating site is owned by People Media or affiliated with Match.com, don’t bother. They cover many niches, but they only do it to make as much money as possible. The sites are not set up to give you a genuine experience. LoveandSeek.com and all the other sites on the network will only take your money and leave you just as lonely as you were when you joined.
